Herb Walk, Lunch and  Herbal Medicine Making Workshop – June 25th – 8:30 AM to 4 PM

I am so excited to hold an herb walk and medicine making workshop in my area! We recently moved to Fairview and have discovered some amazing plant medicine in these beautiful mountains! Price includes an herb walk, packed lunch (bring backpack to carry your own lunch that will be provided) and medicine making workshop. We will be identifying living plants, discussing their medicinal properties, eating lunch in the mountains and then coming back to my home in Fairview to learn how to make basic medicine you can use for yourself and family in times of need.

Here is what you will learn and get to take home:

Learn the difference between hot and cold infusions. Make and take home your own herbal blend with tea infuser.
How and what we use to make decoctions that can be turned into a medicinal syrup. Make and take home a medicinal cough syrup.
Learn solar and stove top herbal oil infusion applications that can be turned into salves and creams. Take home an herbal skin cream.
Poultices with dried or fresh herbs. Take home a dried herbal poultice blend.
Alcohol and glycerin tinctures. Take home your choice of herbal tincture and dropper bottle.
Herbal vinegars that can be made into oxymels, used as a daily supplement or to enhance the food we eat. Take home a fresh herbal vinegar.

Space is limited to 12 people. (As of June 4th, 4 spots are available) Cost is $100.00 per person. Please reach out to me through my contact page to sign up.
Once you pay for your spot you will receive all the information needed for the herb walk and hands on class. Please keep in mind that Fairview is one and a half hours from Salt Lake.  The deadline for returns is June 10th.  If there is a waiting list you can receive a refund if someone takes your place.

More classes will be posted in July, August, September and October!
